NISHA
ABOUT
Nisha is a nonbinary shaymin. They have magenta flowers on their hair and tail, a large magenta and pink flower on their back, white fur, pink eyes, dark green eyebrows, black paw pads, and blue dyed hair. Their secondary fur color depends on the season. In the summer, it is light green. In the fall, it is an orange gradient. In the winter, it is dark blueish green. In the spring, it is pink and magenta.
Their non-white fur and hair is susceptible to weed killer. It is also susceptible to pests - they put pesticide on themselves as part of their personal hygene routine.
They are currently an undergraduate student at University of Friendship majoring in anthropology. They are best friends with Styx and they always dorm together. When Nisha isn't dorming, they live with their parents in Bellthorne.
In addition to Styx, they are friends with York.
They are fully immersed in the Apple ecosystem, and their macbook is overloaded with LGBTQ and communism stickers.
They are vegetarian when people are looking.
They are into bondage.

BACKSTORY
Nisha was born and raised in Bellthorne, a suburb next to Friendship City.
Nisha's legal name is of Western origin, but they changed their name to Nisha because they don't like their legal name.
They went to North Doubax Highschool. They graduated in 2023.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
2022
In early September, CoMo and CoJu decided to make a radical leftist character to accompany their then far-right characters Umber, Kyle, and Elmo. They decided to make it a shaymin. CoJu made them non-binary. It is unknown why their name was chosen to be Nisha.
On September 7, CoMo drew a concept of Nisha's Twitter profile, which may or may not be canon. According to the profile:

- Their display name is "Nish"
- Their username is "@gendernisha"
- Their bio indicates that they are "13" years old and have "Autism", "ADHD", and "Down Syndrome"
- They are located in "Piscataway, New Jersey"
- Despite stating that they are 13 in their bio, they liked a tweet from an account with the display name "🔞 DexNSFW", the username "@dexdex555", and profile picture a ":3" rotated to the right. If you are an NSFW artist who goes by Dex, I did not know you exist.

York's first appearance.
For a few months, Nisha was in 1659, with York, starting in 1659:2. Nisha's design included a flower on their hair, and this was because CoJu misremembered what a shaymin looked like. This flower concept was used in their 2024 design.
2024
On the 21st night of September, CoMo made Nisha's reference and made changes to their design to make them less like a default shaymin.
CoJu made their jacket have a similar design to one that it saw in a visual novel. CoJu also made their last name Mokherjee, named after an author that it likes. CoJu also made them like bondage. This is only because CoMo asked what Nisha is turned on by. CoJu also looked up the name "Nisha" and found out it was an Indian name. Therefore, CoMo and CoJu made them Indian.
On November 20, 2024, CoJu changed Nisha's surname to Mukherjee, because that is the actual correct spelling of the name. CoJu can't believe that it did not notice this egregious error that CoMo made for an entire two months.
