ABOUT
Ball is a male meowstic who has arrow patterns on his ears and paws. His hair and neck fluff can be either sharp or puffy. It is usually puffy after he takes a shower. How often does he take showers? Uh... Pretty often. Sometimes he straightens his hair after showering.
Ball also wears a zipper hoodie. The hoodie is dark blue green ish with spreckles of green or blue and white. He obtained this sentimental piece of clothing in the fall of 2018. Other than that, he doesn't really wear anything else. He is often seen just being naked.
Ball lives with his mother at 116 Blair St in Doubax, Friendship City. The Ballston household is in Doubax, a neighborhood in Friendship City. Ball lives in the northwest corner of Doubax. His backyard borders Lit's, whose house is in the the sprawling suburb of Evenmore.
Ball's personality can be described as easygoing, nerdy, carefree, and sarcastic. He is also lame. He's not that shy.
Ball is bisexual, but he definitely prefers girls, so he definitely says he's straight so he doesn't have to involve himself in a conversation about the spectral nature of sexual identity.
The last time he engaged in such a conversation ended in awkward silence. A lot of conversations he engages in ends in awkward silence. Ball is really awkward silence. I mean awkward. Erm... Yeah. He could just say he's straight because he is not. He is not straight. He is bisexual.
Ball's favorite bands are Weezer and Oasis, but he has a chronic Weezer addiction. His favorite Weezer albums are Pinkerton and EWBAITE.
Ball's best friend is Lit, who lives across his backyard. Ball is also friends with Comet, who lives along the same street. He is not friends with Oakwood. In fact, he doesn't like Oakwood.
Ball's favorite show is The Amazing World Of Gumball and he draws fanfiction comics about it.
Despite not being feral, Ball licks himself like a cat. Just like Lit. No one knows why they do this.
As of September 2024, Ball goes to Verr University with Lit. Most of his tuition is paid by Lit's family.
As of 09/21/2024, Ball is currently having a plush made of him.
Ball's iPhone was paid for by Lit.
Ball and Pinewood broke their legs from food poisoning at a museum. As a result, they have free admission to the museum for life.

Best friends
Ball is best friends with Lit. They are backyard neighbors, and they have known each other since 2011.
COMET

Ball is friends with Comet. Even though they are a school year apart. They somehow found out that they both share an interest in... taking photos of public transportation. Nerds.
Wrong. Comet does not care about public transportation. I don't know how they became friends. I'm guessing because they are neighbors. Or maybe they met at the school's checkers club. Yeah. That's it. That's where they met.
PINEWOOD

Ball is friends with Pinewood. They regularly hang out with Lit. Pinewood has a lot of pictures of Ball. For memory purposes. Like, it makes her computer have more RAM. No. Just kidding.
BACKSTORY
Ball was born in Friendship City to a house painter (his mother, Meeneymore Ballston) and an archer (his father, Morgan Ballston). His first words were "I like trains". Like, for real. Maybe he wasn't able to pronounce the "r", but this is what his mother always says. So I will take her word for it, damn it!
Ball was always bullied in school for having a "stupid" name, so he referred to himself by his last name. That still didn't work, so he shortened it to Ball. That also didn't work after many people called him "Balls". He gave up. He has learned to embrace it. He may identify as "Ball", but perhaps "Balls" isn't bad. Yes, it's a little funny, but it is what it is.
He had a crush on a female meowstic named Fluffy. They had one date, but Fluffy decided that she wasn't interested. Nevertheless, Ball kept flirting with her for the next month or two. The ship name would've been "Fluffy Ball". Man. Ball is weird...
His father, who was an archer, died in an accident when Ball was thirteen years old on 11/15/2019. Actually, I don't know.
Ball went to North Doubax Highschool (NDHS), an average highschool in Friendship City. This is where Ball confessed his love to Flul multiple times. He got rejected every single time.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
2019
In the 2018-2019 Meeting Timeline, two meowstics, Ball and Fluffy, were introduced to the cast in order to add an unnecessary romantic tension. Well, not really. It was to have the ship name of "Fluffy Ball", which is the name of CoMo and CoJu's first poo bunny.
2020
Comet was created and was often put together with Ball, most notably in the 2020 & 2021 Meeting Timelines.
2022
After CoMo started drawing again, Ball became CoMo's main character. In the summer, he also recieved the nickname "Fuckbucket" online, which came from a Discord nickname that was "Fuckbucket & The Sunshine Cunts", which was a reference to a funny social media post.
In September, Ball was given arrow patterns on his paws and ears. This was to make him not just a default male meowstic.
Ball was given the name Ball Newport. CoMo and CoJu then forgot about that.
2023
In July, Ball was put on CoJu's Artfight profile and recieved multiple attacks. He was purple in some of them. This was due to severe lighting errors in his reference images. While CoMo was editing the offending images, he accidentally made him red. This motivated CoMo to make Comet red.
In November, Ball's parents were designed and Ball was given a tragic family dynamic.
2024
On late June or early July, Ball became straight because CoMo felt like he is straight.
August 10: CoMo listened to Morning Glory by Oasis, a song he listened to a lot in early 2019, for the first time in a while. Ball likes Oasis now.
2025
On January 16, CoMo determined that Ball's phone is an iPhone SE, laptop is an old Asus Transformer, and tablet is an Acer Iconia One 10. The latter two devices are what CoMo used between mid 2018 and early 2019.
